There was a mix up on part of the order, originally part of the order was shipped by FedX and as per tracking was supposed to arrive by FedX, it eventually arrived by Canada Post which I had no tracking information for, thought it was lost in transit, there were no Emails to state the change in the carrier for my partial delivery, the remaining 3 parcels of the order arrived by Purolator to my door with tracking numbers and no problems

5TH WHEEL HITCH WITH OE HITCH PACKAGE

Is your truck equipped with an OE (factory) 5th wheel hitch prep package? If so a few options are available to you, some hitches will have the legs compatible to fit your truck's OE mounts, or there are adaters, a Ram OEM 5th Wheel Hitch Adapter that resembles a picture frame that can be used to adapt the OEM installed prep kit (under bed rails) for the Ram full size trucks.

Etiher systems will have to be made to attach to the sockets/mounts on the underbed towing package installed from the factory. The advantage of the adapters such as the Reese 30154, it allows for the use of industry standard (above bed) rails which can be installed on most 5th wheel hitches, ultimately allowing you to keep your 5th wheel hitch if or when you choose to upgrade your truck.
